Why is file sending so hard?
I’ve spent most of my professional career working for a software publishing firm. I should point out though that I’m really not a technical person. We have had to send (and receive) literally hundreds of large files over the years. Sure, we have an IT department who could set up an FTP server for us, but at the end of the day they’re just too damn hard to use.
The alternative for us, at the time, was express couriers. However, when I received my monthly courier bill and it was in the three figure zone, I knew that a) it wasn’t sustainable, b) chewing through my budget way too quickly and c) just plain crazy. Of course, most courier services are overnight, at a minimum.
What we’ve done with 2Large2Email is to develop a system for busy professionals who need to send large files but are sick to death of bouncing emails and who don’t have the time to learn FTP policies and procedures. We welcome your feedback about how you use 2Large2Email, and what you were doing before you discovered us.
